To create a high-end corporate animation for HSBC, to explain the significance of the Renminbi currency to viewers.
Taking the year of the snake as the theme, we developed a richly animated 3D landscape, focused around a stylised 3D snake. The snake slithers and weaves its way through the detailed animation, focusing the viewers on the different aspects of trade and global business that HSBC is focussed on.
The Renminbi currency features throughout, including an animated bank note composited into live action footage at the beginning and end of the video, in Shanghai and London.
